Centric location hotel with great staff, perfect to explore the west part of the city.

I enjoyed my stay at the Empress Theodora Hotel very much. This was my second time in Istanbul and I can tell the location of the hotel is perfect. I asked for a room without window as the hotel is in a street with a tram line, it was perfect, I had no issues with noise and slept very well. The hotel in general is small but very well taken care of, there are nice paintings and art around, I appreciate it. The room is small, but has all you need if you intend to be exploring the whole day as I did. Moreover, it was clean, the bed was comfortable. I also liked the breakfast at the terrace, it is simple but very nice, I specially liked the olives, the aubergine (sooo good) and pie. Finally the staff was also very kind, I encounter 3 different guys and all of them were nice and gave me advice where to go to buy specific items I needed. The cleaning ladies I encounter were also super kind. I would really recommend this hotel to solo travelers or couples that want to be in a centric location and will be out the whole day exploring.

The location of the hotel is perfect, close to all main attractions. Also the rooms are nice and spatious, very good value for money. And the rooftop is also really nice.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable and well organised. The staff were friendly, respectful and spoke English very well. A special thank you to Mr. Mohammed, who was extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel! ❤️
